Also what kinds of paperwork and legal things do u think I would need to start this off properly? Thanks also I dont have children of my own so I couldnt have them tell their friends or anything like that.

- First of all, I think myspace is the best. Create a pg for your biz then search for people in your surrounding area. You will need to know how far you are willing travel first. Add other party planning businesses too. Then you could message them and ask them a few questions. If you search online for party planning business, you will find some wahm forums. They are pretty good for tips & some have directories where you can list your biz for free. Create some flyers and hang them up at places like grocery stores, bulletin board at the park, library, gym, etc. You could run a small ad in your local newspaper too. I don't know how much that would cost you. My local paper is pretty cheap. The bigger one is not so much. You will want to contact your local courthouse to find out if you need a license. In most cases, you don't. You may be able to look that up online too. Then you can contact your local chamber of commerce and contact the bbb. Get listed anywhere you can for free. I love myspace for networking tho. It's the best. I have met so many great people on there. Cafemom.com too. They would have good tips for you on there if you posted this same question. You might even be able to find local people on there. I have. Now, I make tutus so if you ever need any for your parties, I do wholesale to other businesses. Feel free to contact me anytime. I hope this was helpful. good luck
