2. It depends on the theme, bible story or religious calendar/holiday. What age group? Give me more info. and I'll help you out some more. Ok, that is a big spread - 6 year olds will be reading and writing but 3 yr olds won't be able to pay attention for more than 20 minutes. For craft work, divide the group in young and old and give the little ones coloring pages and the older ones can create their own one, then cut it. Both groups can work on virtues, make a "Fruits of the Spirit" basket - and it can be a weekly thing that will grow. You can also have them make stain glass art - cut out pieces of paper on clear contact paper, then frame on a pre-cut angle shape frame. At the end of class the old ones can be paired up with young ones to do clean up as a team. Always start and end your class with a very simple prayer. Good luck.
