What is shrink paper and what does it do?

I was looking at craft instructions for making painted wine glasses, when I came across a site that suggested writing a phrase on "shrink paper" and "shrinking" the phrase onto the wine glass. I've never heard of shrink paper before. What is it and what does it do?

1. bassically it shrinks when u apply heat to it. u can find that at craft stores.
2. I think it's special paper that you can write on, and then cut out your picture/design/phrase and place it on the wine glass. Usually then you use a heat gun to shrink it into place. I would assume it's similar to shrink wrap--which you would use to wrap up baskets and keep everything in place. Craft stores like Michael's or JoAnns would probably have it and could help you more.
