- toy cars, dolls, board games, legos, DVDs, remote control cars, Webkinz, etc.
- I babysit kids around the same age and I have this huge coloring book that i printed off disney coloring pages and word searches and they love it!
- try bringing glue and dry noodles, like macaroni noodles. and some colored paper. they can make pictures out of noodles, I've done it before with a 2.5 year old boy and a 6 year old girl, and they loved it good luck : }
- Could you not Put Caps Lock on Or shift. It's considering your yelling over the internet. Go to Wal-Mart Cheap Crafts.
- i like playdough for the older kids, but only when you are RIGHT THERE WITH THEM!! the little kids that i sit like when i broing like the cheap dollar store jewlry and makeup and we make them princesses. idk... for crafts you can go with the hoildays and they make a craft for whatever holiday is in that month but they have to keep it a secret until the day they give it to mom or dad. but beware of liquid glue....
- Toys R us has a wide variety of Crayola Crayons.. different shapes, colors and even in animal shapes now! Then you can go on http://www.crayola.com/ before you babysit and print out one of the many crayola activities =] .. theres tons!
- boys that age love cars, trains, trucks, and action figure, coloring books and crayons are a good option for both boy and girl also get the aphabet and number magnets for them to learn while playing.
- Here are some basic craft supplies: Kids safety scissors, Kids glue (stick & liquid), Construction paper, Crayons, Paper plates, Paper Bags, Popsicle sticks, Stickers, Washable Markers, Pom-poms, Pipecleaners, Double-sided tape, Wiggley eyes, Glitter, Beads, Yarn, Newspaper, Macaroni ۰ Play-doh. You can buy it or make your own.* ۰ New toys. Kids love getting to play with new things, so bring a couple of your old Barbies or dolls with you every time. It's like get a special new toy every time you come over. (or go out and pick up some dolls/barbies/toy cars at the dollar store). ۰ Make your own pin-the-tail on the donkey (or pig or bunny). Each kid can have a certain part they make and than you can all play afterwards. ۰ Coloring books. And crayons. Pick up a super pack of crayons at the dollar store (or 5 small boxes so each kid can have their own) and a coloring book for each kid. ۰ A Treasure Hunt. You can make pirate hats** with the kids and than go on a clue filled adventure, complete with map, to find the treasure. ۰ Sock Puppets. Use stuff from your craft kit to add to single socks that are going to be thrown out. Afterwards you can have a puppet show. ۰ Make a kite, than go fly it! I'd suggest doing all of the prep-work first and than just getting the kids to decorate the kite. You could easily do this on a rainy day, and than when it's nice out bring the kite back to go fly it for an afternoon of outdoor fun.*** ۰ Games like “Simon Says,” “Hide and Seek,” or “Marco Polo” are fun outside and if you're careful about not breaking things, inside too. ۰ Make instruments with the kids and put on a concert.**** - Many parents will also offer to reimburse you for the money you spend on crafts for their children. Just be sure to ask them first to make sure you have a mutual understanding. - Yard sales and dollar stores are great places to pick up toys, games and craft supplies for cheap!
